The Green Planet Dubai is an immersive indoor rainforest located in the City Walk district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Opened on September 1, 2016, it spans 60,000 square feet and houses over 3,000 plants and animals within a bio-dome structure. Designed by Meras, the attraction offers visitors a chance to explore a tropical ecosystem in the heart of the city.

Key Features

Biodome Structure: The facility's centrepiece is an 82-foot (25-meter) tall artificial tree, surrounded by lush greenery and various animal habitats. Visitors enter on the fourth floor and descend through the rainforest via a spiral slope

Wildlife Encounters: Guests can observe a diverse range of species, including sloths, flying foxes, lemurs, anacondas, and various tropical birds.

Tropical Thunderstorm Experience: Twice daily, the biodome simulates a tropical downpour, complete with rain, thunder, and lightning, to demonstrate the importance of such storms in rainforest ecosystems
